Before purchasing, please contact our sales or customer service team to confirm that your door is suitable for installation.
Once the purchase is confirmed, we will schedule the installation and collect a booking fee of RM 50 upon confirming the installation date. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Bookings can be held for up to six months. If you cannot confirm an installation date due to ongoing renovations or uncertain handover schedules, there is no need to worry. For special cases requiring an extension, please notify our team in advance, and we will make the necessary arrangements for you.
If the installation site is outside our service area, additional fees will apply.
Door Surface Preparation: Removal of existing locks, handles, or pull bars. If large holes are left after removal, customers are responsible for repairs and repainting.
Door Modifications: If the gap between the door and the door frame is too narrow, additional adjustments may be required. This service costs RM 150 (optional and usually does not affect functionality).

Purchasing a smart lock from IA Smart Enterprise (Malaysia) comes with a 1-year warranty starting from the installation date.
First-Year Warranty: Covers all components, including parts, labor, and transportation (on-site service is free).
After the warranty period, service and labor fees will apply. (For Klang Valley, the service and labor fee is RM 150.)
The warranty does not cover:
Buttons, casing, external accessories, consumable parts, or LCD screens with cosmetic defects (e.g., dents, cracks, or scratches).
Improper testing, operation, display, maintenance, installation, adjustment, or modifications. (If a customer’s error requires a technician to adjust the lock, an on-site fee of RM 80-150 will be charged.)
Replacement of non-IA-approved or provided parts.
Repairs or attempted repairs by unauthorized IA technicians.
Use of damaged or leaking batteries not recommended by IA.
Natural disasters such as floods, fires, humidity, storms, earthquakes, or lightning.
Contact with or use of chemicals.
Damage caused by door collisions due to missing or faulty door closers.
Any on-site support unrelated to manufacturing defects, which will incur a service fee of RM 150.

It is the user's responsibility to carry a spare key or to ensure it is stored in a secure and readily accessible location.
Any damage resulting from forced entry due to the loss or inaccessibility of the key shall not be covered under the warranty.
Battery leakage is not covered under the warranty. Please follow these precautions:
Use IA-recommended alkaline batteries (AA or AAA size), such as Maxell
Do not mix new and old batteries.
Replace batteries within 12 months.
Regularly inspect the battery compartment.
Do not use fast-charging adapters or power banks to charge the battery.
Only chargers with an output of 5V/2A or 5V/1A (below 10W) are supported. Chargers exceeding 10W are considered fast-charging adapters.
Charging time is approximately 6-8 hours.

If emergency service is required outside our working hours, a labor fee of RM 300 may apply.

Please keep your emergency keys safely and ensure you can access your home when outside.
Note: If the smart lock runs out of battery or malfunctions and the emergency key is not available or accessible, this will be treated as an emergency service and will incur a fee.
