Before purchasing, please contact our sales or customer service team to confirm that your door is suitable for installation.
Once the purchase is confirmed, we will schedule the installation and collect a booking fee of RM 50 upon confirming the installation date. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Bookings can be held for up to six months. If you cannot confirm an installation date due to ongoing renovations or uncertain handover schedules, there is no need to worry. For special cases requiring an extension, please notify our team in advance, and we will make the necessary arrangements for you.
If the installation site is outside our service area, additional fees will apply.
Door Surface Preparation: Removal of existing locks, handles, or pull bars. If large holes are left after removal, customers are responsible for repairs and repainting.
Door Modifications: If the gap between the door and the door frame is too narrow, additional adjustments may be required. This service costs RM 150 (optional and usually does not affect functionality).

All smart locks purchased from IA Smart Enterprise (Malaysia) include a 1-year warranty, effective from the installation date.
First-Year Warranty Includes:
Internal hardware components
Software-related defects
Parts, labor, and transportation (free on-site service)
After the warranty expires, standard service and labor fees apply.
For Klang Valley, the on-site service and labor fee is RM150.
A manufacturing defect refers exclusively to internal hardware or software malfunction that is not caused by:
User handling
Installation environment
Battery issues
External forces
Environmental conditions
Any issue falling outside this definition will be treated as non-warranty service.
The warranty does not cover the following under any circumstances:
Buttons, casing, external accessories
LCD screens with dents, cracks, scratches, or discoloration
Wear and tear or surface deterioration
Incorrect operation, forceful handling, improper testing, or misuse
Unauthorized installation, adjustment, modification, or alteration
Damages caused during renovation
User errors requiring technician adjustment (RM80–150 service fee)
Use of parts not supplied or approved by IA
Repairs performed by non-IA technicians
Attempted repairs by the user
Battery leakage, corrosion, swelling
Use of non-alkaline or low-quality batteries
Mixing old and new batteries
Overcharging or using fast-charging adapters/power banks
Damage to the PCB or motor caused by improper batteries
Floods, fire, humidity, rust, chemical exposure
Lightning, storms, earthquakes, or other natural disasters
Corrosion from coastal or high-humidity environments
Damage caused by door collisions due to missing/faulty door closers
Any on-site service not caused by a manufacturing defect will be charged RM150.
This includes, but is not limited to:
No-issue-found inspections
User mistakes
Environmental issues
Incorrect door alignment
Poor door or frame condition
Routine checks or adjustments requested by the user
To prevent avoidable failures, the user is responsible for:
Users must keep a mechanical key accessible at all times.
The company is not responsible for:
Lost keys
Inaccessible keys
Forced-entry damage (regardless of reason)
Any force-entry service will be considered emergency assistance and charged accordingly.
Use IA-recommended alkaline batteries (AA/AAA), such as Panasonic, Maxell, or Eveready
Do not mix battery brands or old and new batteries
Replace batteries within 12 months
Inspect battery compartments regularly
Battery-related damage is strictly not covered.
Do not use fast chargers or power banks
Only use 5V/1A or 5V/2A chargers (below 10W)
Charging time: 6–8 hours
Damage caused by high-wattage chargers or overcharging is not covered under warranty.

Emergency service outside working hours will incur a RM300 labor fee.
Emergency service availability depends on technician schedule and coverage; immediate dispatch is not guaranteed.

If the lock runs out of battery or malfunctions and the mechanical key is unavailable, this will automatically be treated as chargeable emergency service.
Emergency fees apply regardless of warranty status.
